A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand

Chocolate Chip Cookies





Ingredients :


  • 170g Butter, softened

  • 150g Brown Sugar

  • 100g Granulated Sugar

  • 2 Eggs + 1 Egg Yolk

  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla

  • 280g All Purpose Flour

  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1 and 1/2 cup Teaspoon Corn Flour

  • 4 Cups Chocolate Chips


Method :


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F / 175 C / Gas Mark 4 and prepare a baking tray with baking sheet .

  2. In a medium bowl sift together the Flour, Corn Flour and Baking Soda . Set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl cream the brown sugar ,granulated sugar and butter together until creamy and fluffy.

  4. Add the vanilla and eggs one at a time and mix well until incorporated.

  5. Add the Flour mixture gradually with the butter and egg mixture until well incorporated and dough starts to form.

  6. Fold in the Chocolate Chips until evenly combined.

  7. Cover dough with cling film and chill dough for about 30 minutes.

  8. Once dough is chilled scoop balls into prepare baking tray lined with baking sheet.

  9. Bake for around 8-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned .[ Small cookies bake for around 8-10minutes]

  10. Transfer on cooling rack and once cooled store in an airtight container , place a piece of bread in container for moisture.
