Nutella Swirl Cheesecake Bars



Ingredients for Crust :


  • 10 full sheets (1.5cups) biscuits crumbs ( i used Digestives ! )

  • 90g (6tablespoons) unsalted Butter, melted


For Filling :


  • 450g cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • 1 Large Egg

  • 50g Granulated Sugar

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 100g Nutella, slightly warmed

Method :


  1. Preheat oven to 350F/175C/ Gas Mark4

  2. Using a food Processor crush the biscuits into crumbs

  3. Pour into a medium bowl and mix with the melted butter

  4. Press into desired prepared pan and bake for 5 minutes

  5. Allow to cool as you prepare filling


To prepare filling :


  1. In a medium bowl beat the cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy (for about 3 minutes)

  2. Spoon filling onto the crust

  3. Drop large spoonful's of Nutella on top of filling and swirl gently with a knife

  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheesecake has set up and edges are lightly brown(bars will look puffy but once cooled they will sink slightly down)

  5. Allow to cool for 30minutes at room temperature than chill for 3 hours in refrigerator

  6. Once cooled take them out the pan and cut into squares


[ Store Bars in a covered container for up to 5 days and keep in refrigerator ]
